Before Sale Service (appointments for trying out/ bidding by phone, etc.)
After Sale Service (transport, export, insurance, etc.).
Before Sale
Our engaged team will be glad to help you pick out your favorite Oldenburgs in advance. Just tell us what you are looking for and your ideas on this and we will compile a list of suitable candidates in the current auction collection. We’d also be glad to schedule an appointment for you to try out, observe and test the individual characteristics of the horses you have picked out – without any commitment. And while you’re trying them out, our team will be there to give you advice and answer questions.
Before admission to the auction is final, all Oldenburgs must pass a sales examination. Our veterinarian, Dr. Holger Steinmann, equine specialist from the Equine Clinic Mühlen [Pferdeklinik Mühlen], will be glad to provide information on the state of the horse’s health.
You also have the possibility of observing the entire collection during their daily workouts and to talk to the auction riders about the talents of the individual candidates. Our extra presentations, the times of which are given in the current catalogue, are another opportunity to observe the performance of all auction horses in front of a large audience.
If you are unable to come to one of the presentations, new videos of the gems in the current collection will be posted on our website.
After Sale
After the auction, our team is still at your service. Whether you need help organizing transport or have specific questions concerning a plan for schooling your new horse, our team will be glad to help you and your new Oldenburg.
All of the horses purchased at our auctions are insured for a further eight weeks through the Oldenburg Verband. Foals are even insured until they are turned over to the buyer or the date given in the catalogue. We’ll also organize further insurance for your Oldenburg if desired.
It won’t be necessary for you to pick up the horse you purchased immediately after knock-down. A date that suits you can be arranged. Until then your new horse will be well taken care of by our competent consulting and groom team.
Your new Oldenburg will be handed over to you with halter, transport boots and a stable blanket in the Oldenburg colors.
