South-West Mercury's sire is a son of the top stallion Millennium/Intermediaire I successful under Simone Pearce, AUS, who has already produced numerous Grand Prix horses such as Maxima Bella, Gut Wettlkam's Mondrian, and Morricone I. Dam's sire Sezuan achieved a unique record as a stud stallion by winning the World Dressage Championships as a five-, six-, and seven-year-old.
